India according to me is a totally different eco-system than most countries in the world. Its more like there is the rest of the world and then there is India. India is by far the most challenging, the most unique and the most difficult markets to succeed. Simply because India has a mind of its own and an operating system if you please of its own. To survive in India is to survive the immense competition which is so strongly wrapped up in India. So it is not easy.
However, if I were to pinpoint certain factors which would enable someone to survive in India, these would be the question or points I would consider.
1) Why should someone come to me?
2) Why should someone pay me money?
3) What is it that makes me unique from my competitors?
4) What is it that other people are willing to pay me?
5) What is something that I have which would make others come to me?
Once you figure the basic fundaments of what you can offer people and how much they are willing to pay - that is where growth takes place.
So if you use this principle, you can make money any place and anywhere.
